Macaspac is now 10-0. Tomorrow, he gets a chance to tie Tia’s record. That alone will motivate him to try harder and that will be bad news for King as the latter needs at least a draw to make the team or earn a playoff with Duke.
Round 10 Results
West won convincingly against King. Now, he is in good shape to make the team tomorrow with a quick draw with Baniel who will be likely motivated to accept a peaceful resolution for his own interest. I predicted that West would make the team even after a rough start.
King must at least obtain a draw to retain some playoff hopes against Duke. If Duke and King both lose their games tomorrow, they will automatically play a playoff for the last place. Of course, this is assuming that West and Baniel will settle for a draw in their contest. As in most years, the last round plays a crucial role in determining the last spot.
