
Brana Malobabic-Giancristofaro is the inventor, entrepreneur and a chess player. She was trained at a young age by a chess grandmaster. Before she founded MonRoi, Brana engineered new optical Ethernet technologies at Nortel Networks. At Nortel she received a Pride Award. Brana gained diverse experience by working with both large and start-up corporations. She is a member of the investment advisory committee of the Economic Development in Saint Laurent, Montreal. She received an Alpha Gala Chamber of Commerce Award for her innovations. Brana has given lectures and seminars ranging from telemedicine to Telecom / IT Convergence. She holds a degree in Electrical Engineering.
