The Chess for Peace Token will travel around the world, as it is passed forward. Each year the Youth Chess Tournament for Peace will have a new host. The names of all the youth chess players will be carried forward with their world’s peace message. 

World’s first Youth Chess Tournament for Peace is being held in Montreal, Canada on September 7, 2011. Our message, which will be passed on to next year’s organizer was written by the Canadian Chess Federation. 

We are delighted to announce that the 2012 Youth Chess Tournament for Peace goes to Ghana!
