FORMAT: 7 ROUNDS, SWISS SYSTEM

TIME CONTROL: Game 90 minutes plus 30 seconds increment.

FIDE rules will be used at this championship since this is an official FIDE event unless exceptions are specified in the house rules. All participants must be under 18 on January 1, 2010. For players who only have one FIDE, CFC, USCF, FQE or CMA rating, we will be using their rating as of August 12, 2010. If a player has more than one of these ratings, the highest rating will be used for pairing purposes. Every effort will be made in the first two rounds, not to pair 2 players from the same province or state together.
